Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough neurological assessments and administer prescribed medications and treatments to patients suffering from epilepsy.
  • Monitor and interpret patients' responses to interventions, making adjustments as necessary to optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Educate and counsel patients and their families about the condition, its management, and expected outcomes.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document and report patients' progress, outcomes, and any complications or adverse events, contributing to quality improvement and research activities.
  • Support patients in recovering behavioral, physical, and cognitive abilities through targeted interventions.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Exercise patience and sensitivity when interacting with patients who may have impaired mental function due to their condition.
  • Deliver complete nursing management for patients experiencing active epilepsy, encompassing medical, emotional, and psychological support.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare providers.
