Job Description

BAE Systems (New) seeks an experienced Aircraft Electronics Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the operationally capability of aircraft in support of King Faisal Air Academy (KFAA) pilot training programme.

You will perform a variety of tasks including aircraft servicing, fault finding, troubleshooting/rectification, modifications, and inspections/evaluations of aircraft systems/components within the Avionic Systems at Intermediate level maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with avionic aircraft systems, components and associated support and test equipment. They will also be able to interpret/evaluate technical documents and diagrams within the scope of the trade specialty.

In addition, the successful candidate will be able to achieve and maintain Production Inspector Red X (Independent) signatory capability for authorised specific trade certifications.

Other responsibilities include carrying out ground handling of aircraft and associated equipment in support of the KFAA maintenance mission statement, maintaining aircraft, component, test equipment, support equipment and technical information, and providing specialist technical information/assistance as required.

The successful candidate will also be required to provide informal and formal On the Job Training (OJT) for both RSAF and BAE Systems Saudi National personnel to enable either of them to operate at Intermediate Maintenance level.
