Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Network Technician to join our growing team within Networking. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the hardware, configuration, and fiber connectivity of interdependent scaling projects across multiple data center locations.

You will work closely with both internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution in association with Technical Program Managers. As a Network Technician, you must be highly detail-oriented, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and have significant experience supporting large-scale enterprise networks.

The ideal candidate should be highly competent in all aspects of installation and troubleshooting of networking hardware, software, and fiber connectivity, combined with a proven project delivery methodology. You will work with minimum supervision to drive stability and sustainability of next-generation networks and assist in developing innovative ways to automate and scale our network as we expand.

Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with Network Engineering & Network Technical Project Manager teams for rapid rollout of established designs and products.
– Manage work priorities through ticketing systems and workflows, collaborating with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
– Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including device configuration and low-level application interaction.
– Identify cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and cords.
– Specify Power and Cooling requirements and ensure Hardware Racking/Stacking for new equipment.
– Complete customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system and project management workflows.
– Participate in migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
