Hematology Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hematology Specialist to join our team at Avenues Resources Consultants. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a critical role in providing patient care and support to patients with blood-related disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing patient care in Adult Hematology, under supervision of the most responsible physician (ward rounds, clinics, on-calls).
• Conduct consultations with other specialties in the hospital to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Perform bone marrow aspirates, biopsies, and other related procedures under supervision of the most responsible physician.
• Administer medications (chemotherapeutic agents) as prescribed by the MRP.
• Participate in departmental educational activities (journal club, tumor board, lectures, etc).
• Engage in research activities to improve patient outcomes.
• Participate in hospital committees as requested.
• Train and educate rotating residents and junior staff members.
• Carry out additional duties as delegated by the chairman or division head.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

A bachelor's degree from a recognized medical school, per credentialing guidelines.

At least five (5) years of clinical experience in a recognized hospital/institution. A registered member of the Saudi Board Council (essential). Training certificates in a specialized field.
