About the Role

  • As a senior systems infrastructure engineer at Giza Arabia, you will be responsible for managing and delivering the installation and configuration of network security architectures.
  • You will provide remote and on-site support to our customers both within and outside Egypt.
  • Your primary focus will be on managing and monitoring large computer networks from a central location by communicating with site technicians and tracking problems until resolution.
  • You will investigate and identify the root cause of incidents through thorough analysis, troubleshooting, and incident response on the system.
  • A key aspect of your role will be to track, document, and record all technical issues and resolutions for future reference.
  • You will maintain LAN, WAN, and server architecture in line with business policy requirements.
  • In addition, you will resolve existing security issues including hardware malfunctions and track vulnerable scripts to prevent potential threats.
  • You will be responsible for generating and maintaining virtual private networks, firewalls, and web protocols.
  • You will conduct investigations into security breach alerts and report findings from security analysis.
  • Your responsibilities will also include monitoring web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls, and endpoint security.
  • You will manage communications with third-party vendors, customer contacts, and other IT teams.
  • You will maintain routers and switches and generate status reports of hardware and software products as per designated policy.
  • You will prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to the Network team leader to clarify the current status and progress of assigned tasks.
  • You will escalate customer satisfaction problems and complex issues to Network Team Leader, Technical Project Services, if necessary.
  • Furthermore, you will drive the planning, design, implementation, organization, and operation of the company's data communications network.
  • You will analyze departmental needs and establish priorities for network design and implementation to develop new or modify the company's networks and security.
  • You will prepare, compile, and review project technical documentation with details of installation work and submit to the team leader.
