We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team. As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of chemical, microscopic, immunological and/or bacteriological testing in the Clinical Laboratory.
The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills and have the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will also be required to maintain accurate records, operate laboratory equipment and participate in quality control programs.
Duties and Responsibilities- Organize daily work schedules and ensure optimum levels of supplies are available to provide uninterrupted services.
- Assist in the evaluation of new methodologies/equipment and revise policy and procedure manuals as necessary
- Obtain and process laboratory specimens, perform analyses, tests and procedures, and maintain appropriate laboratory safety procedures and practices
- Maintain records, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, and participate in quality control programs and quality assurance activities
- Provide training, continuing education and guidance to students and other healthcare personnel
