Job Description

About the Role:

The Procurement Head will be responsible for leading the purchasing department in the day-to-day operation of procurement activities. This includes working closely with management to develop a defined portfolio of suppliers for main purchase categories, managing the overall purchase requisition process, and ensuring timely delivery of productions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement a strategic sourcing plan to identify and select suppliers that meet the company's needs.
  2. Supplier Management: Manage the supplier relationship, including negotiation, contract finalization, and performance monitoring.
  3. Purchase Requisition Process: Manage the purchase requisition process, including preparation and processing of Purchase Orders (PO) and Purchase Requisitions (PR) for approval.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  5. Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce costs through improved purchasing practices and supplier negotiations.
  6. Communication: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including management, suppliers, and internal teams.
  7. Reporting: Provide regular reports on procurement activities, including spend analysis and supplier performance.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Minimum graduation in business administration or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
