Pediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Specialist

**Job Overview:**
A prestigious hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine professional to lead their pediatric respiratory medicine team. As a specialist in this field, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients with pulmonary disorders, including asthma, chronic obstructive sleep and respiratory disorders, disease (COPD), pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, and respiratory infections.
**Estimated Salary Range:** $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
**Job Description:
The successful candidate will have expertise in pediatric respiratory medicine and the ability to provide consultative services as requested. You will supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents, actively participating in their training and teaching in your area of expertise.
You will also participate in research activities and committees as needed, performing special procedures as privileged. Additionally, you will follow all hospital-related policies and procedures, undertaking other related duties as assigned.
**Required Qualifications: **
To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree from a medical school of good standing and completion of the required period of training in Pediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine. Saudi Arab or American /European Board Certification or equivalent is also necessary.
You must hold membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfill the criteria for the consultant as required. A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is mandatory, as is Dataflow registration.
**Professional Experience:**
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-4 years of post-board/fellowship experience in Pediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine and be a registered member of the Saudi Board Council.
**Language Proficiency:**
You should be proficient in English, with additional proficiency in Arabic being beneficial.
