Job Description

The role of a Safety and Security Officer is to ensure the safety and security of our guests and team members. This involves monitoring and controlling staff entrances, patrolling the hotel, and identifying potential security risks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prevent unauthorized access by monitoring and controlling staff entrances.
  • Patrol the hotel regularly to identify potential security risks and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Investigate theft and manage instances of undesirable behavior in a professional manner.
  • Support evacuation procedures during fire alarms and maintain awareness of bomb and terror threat procedures.
  • Provide secure storage for guest oversized items and ensure hotel facilities and function rooms remain secure when not in use.
  • Maintain the Security Log Book and Incident Reports, investigating and reporting all allegations of theft, criminal damage, and other incidents.
Requirements:
  • A high school graduate or above with good physical condition.
  • At least two (2) years of law enforcement experience either on a Security Bureau or military training.
  • Knowledgeable about fire procedures, disaster plan procedure, bomb threats, and hotel evacuation procedures.
  • Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • SIA trained and licensed.
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and keep calm in emergency situations.
