We are looking for a highly skilled Safety and Reliability Expert Leader to join our team at Amazon. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing WHS programs across Mexico, ensuring a safe work environment for our employees and partners.
Key Responsibilities- Establish WHS Programs: Develop and implement WHS programs that promote active involvement among technicians and contractors, with clear expectations and ownership.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise: Offer technical guidance in WHS and RME to identify systemic gaps and develop practical solutions for deploying effective WHS programs, risk management, and mitigation actions.
- Support Risk Reduction Initiatives: Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance WHS RME HRO program deployment, leveraging LATAM WHS RME HRO programs to drive risk reduction and program improvement.
- Implement Innovative Solutions: Develop and implement innovative approaches to raise awareness and capabilities of RME teams, promoting effective risk mitigation.
- Bachelor's Degree: In safety or related engineering/science from an accredited university.
- Experience: 8+ years in WHS, ideally supporting high-risk operations, with fluency in English and Spanish.
- Skills: Experience in program implementation, managing contractors, and knowledge of regional regulatory requirements and standards (ISO, etc.).
