Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Performing initial analysis on true positive alerts to determine root cause and impact.
  2. Undertaking first stages of false positive and false negative analysis.
  3. Generating weekly reports from the SIEM platform and sending them to L2 SOC analysts for review.
  4. Tracking and updating incidents and requests based on client updates and analysis results.
  5. Escalating validated and confirmed incidents as per escalation procedures.
  6. Collecting necessary logs that could help in incident containment and security investigation.
  7. Acknowledging, analyzing, and validating incidents received through other reporting mechanisms such as email, phone calls, management directions, etc.
  8. Acknowledging, analyzing, and validating incidents triggered from correlated events through the SIEM solution.
  9. Other duties related to the position.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or any IT-related field.
  2. 0-2 years of experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Minimum two of the below Certificates:

  1. Security+
  2. CEH
  3. eLearnSecurity Certified Incident Responder
