The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that designs meet safety, efficiency, and quality standards while adhering to client specifications and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design and analyze road and bridge structures to meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for roadways, bridges, and associated infrastructure.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
- Utilize engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to create innovative designs.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address design issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Review and evaluate project deliverables for adherence to design standards, quality, and safety regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of roads and bridges.
- Strong proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
- In-depth knowledge of design codes and industry standards related to road and bridge engineering.
