About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurosurgery Specialist to join our team at Ash International. As a Consultant Neurosurgeon, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to patients with neurological disorders and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditions, including brain and spinal cord injuries
  • Perform complex neurosurgical procedures, including surgeries on the brain, spine, and nervous system
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in neurosurgery
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a Consultant Neurosurgeon in a Western hospital
  • 3 years of post-specialist qualification experience from countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or France
  • Strong knowledge of neurosurgery and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Incentives: Paid as a % of income earned for the hospital
  • Contract duration: 2 years renewable
  • Contract status: Married (if required) Self, spouse & 2 children (to 18yrs)

  • Leave: 40 days a year – can be split

  • Hours of work: 48 hours per week, 8 hours per day–shifts dependent on specialty
