About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our Device Support Engineering team at Amazon. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing first-level engineering support to customers experiencing issues with Amazon Devices.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level engineering support for customer-reported issues in Fire TV, Kindle Tablets, E-Reader, Echo devices, and platform services behind these devices
- Define and validate supportability aspects and metrics for emerging and existing Amazon Device product lines
- Develop tools and scripts to resolve operational burden of support/dev engineers and front-line customer support teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development or 5+ years of technical support experience
- Experience scripting in modern programming languages
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow
- Strong communication skills and experience in handling high-severity incident management calls
