Security Risk Management Professional

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and solution-based Security Risk Management Professional to join our team. In this key role, you will deliver security as a service to operational sites across the supply chain to protect people and prevent loss.

• Contribute to emergency and crisis planning for sites within your area of responsibility, supporting business operations resilience.
• Identify vulnerabilities (e.g., loss, associate experience, process improvement) and define mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Serve as point of contact for managing risk with local management and external parties on all security-related matters.
• Ensure compliance of assigned sites with global security standards.
• Own Security and Loss Prevention-related projects on the local, regional, and country level.

As a Security Risk Management Professional, you will work with a team providing security services to business customers across multiple units within a dedicated geographical area.

You perform regular physical security audits, investigate policy violations, security-related incidents, and loss events by monitoring systems, analysing data reports, and conducting interviews.

Your findings contribute to identifying vulnerabilities in processes, and you identify and drive mitigating measures.

You play a key role in maintaining site integrity by auditing and monitoring system health, jointly with subject matter experts and external suppliers, maintaining functionality.

You identify initiatives improving physical security infrastructure, contribute directly to budgetary planning for external suppliers, and interact daily with external security providers to ensure delivery of high-quality services and a smooth customer experience.

You deliver loss prevention education and awareness programs to other teams across all levels and manage the implementation of the Security and Loss Prevention plan.

This position sits within the Global Security Operations organisation, which supports Amazon's business targets and brand protection by effectively managing relevant threats and security risks that could:

• Put associates and customers under jeopardy.
• Disrupt continuity of business operations.
• Inflict damage to assets.
• Have an adverse impact on brand reputation.

The team secures the end-to-end supply chain, promotes security during business conversations, prevents security and loss prevention-related risks and vulnerabilities early on, intervenes in unfolding incidents to minimize negative impacts, and thoroughly investigates security incidents to identify and remove root causes, preventing reoccurrence.

• A degree or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant security- or risk-related experience (e.g., security services, asset protection, loss prevention, risk management, inventory management, investigations, supply chain, auditing, compliance, or similar).
• Experience working with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
• Advanced proficiency in written and verbal Arabic and English.

• A relevant advanced degree, advanced degree equivalent, or industry certification.
• Experience with physical security systems, investigation techniques, and/or management of contract security officers.
• Experience with retail, warehouse, distribution center services, delivery service, or supply chain.
• Experience working with data.
• Driver's license.
