Job Description

The Financial Accounting Specialist will support Amazon's Finance Operations, Accounting & Analysis (FOAA) team in delivering great experiences for customers. This dynamic environment prioritizes teamwork, innovation, and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage purchase transactions and error handling in invoices processed within Amazon systems.
  • Communicate with rack integrators and interface directly with them to score data quality.
  • Process weekly inventory adjustments and transactions from rack integrators via component activity reports and roll forward reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of transactional accounting field experience.
  • Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA skills.
  • Accounting degree or related field with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience in month-end closing of books of accounts and working on various sub-ledgers.
  • Advanced English level.
Bonus Skills:
  • 1+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects with measurable results.
  • Experience using Oracle Financial Applications.
  • Operational excellence and process improvement knowledge.
