Job Description

The Energy & Environment Co. (EEC) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Laboratory Technician. This role will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and analyses, as well as maintaining and operating laboratory equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out wet laboratory activities and maintain lab equipment, reagents, chemicals, and other consumables used in the laboratory.
  • Prepare all wet lab test analysis, lab solutions, reagents, and media as needed to carry out laboratory exercises.
  • Collect, analyze, and evaluate incoming environmental samples, chemicals, R&D, reagents, and other samples submitted to EEC laboratory under wet laboratory analysis.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or diploma in chemical engineering with at least 3 years of experience in laboratory-related activities.
  • Multitasking skills to perform lab activities as an alternative post in the absence of the Laboratory supervisor.
  • Technical inclination in handling wet laboratory measuring instruments.
