An innovative educator with expertise in teaching and learning is required to join our team, promoting high levels of student achievement and parent satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a conducive learning environment through effective lesson planning and delivery, identifying clear teaching and learning objectives, and setting challenging tasks and expectations.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging lessons that promote high levels of interest and engagement.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to match approach to content, structure information, and present key ideas effectively.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's Behaviour for Learning Policy, encouraging good practice and punctuality.
- Assess learning objectives, using performance data to inform planning and improve teaching effectiveness.
- Effectively question students, listen carefully to their responses, and address errors and misconceptions.
- Select appropriate learning resources, develop study skills, and utilize library, I.C.T., and other learning technologies.
- Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing, and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work.
- Keep subject knowledge up-to-date through continuous professional development and professional reading.
- Operate within stated policies and practices, establishing effective working relationships with colleagues.
- Set an outstanding example to stakeholders through personal and professional conduct, contributing to the wider life of the school.
- Participate in the Extra Curricular program, offering at least one after-school activity each term.
