About the Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our dynamic Supply Chain Management team in Jeddah. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless execution of international transportation packages of materials and/or equipment for various projects.

This role involves developing logistical plans and contingency plans, managing interfaces with regional logistics teams and appointed service providers, and administering and retaining necessary documentation. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A critical aspect of this role is providing effective shipment visibility and traceability, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong drive for results and a can-do attitude, with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage International Transportation Packages: Oversee the execution of international transportation packages of materials and/or equipment for various projects.
  • Develop Logistical Plans and Contingency Plans: Create and implement logistical plans at the beginning of the project and develop contingency plans when necessary.
  • Interface with Regional Logistics Teams and Appointed Service Providers: Establish and maintain effective relationships with regional logistics teams and appointed service providers to ensure smooth execution of logistics operations.
  • Ensure Shipment Visibility and Traceability: Monitor and report on shipment status, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing any disruptions to supply chains.
  • Administer and Retain Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely administration of transportation and shipping documents, adhering to regulatory requirements.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Shipping, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum seven years of experience in logistics and transportation operations, preferably in project cargo, freight forwarding, or shipping companies.
  • Expertise: Excellent knowledge of international transportation processes, customs regulations, and procedures.
  • Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including regional logistics teams and appointed service providers.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
