Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Utility Systems Engineer to contribute to the design and development of wet utility systems. As a pivotal member of our team, you will be responsible for creating innovative, sustainable, and efficient utility designs that comply with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Optimization: Design and optimize wet utility systems, including water conveyance, wastewater treatment, and drainage solutions.
  • Engineering Drawings and Specifications: Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and design calculations.
  • Hydrological and Hydraulic Modeling: Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modeling to assess system performance.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with civil engineers and other stakeholders to integrate utility designs with overall project plans.
  • Compliance and Review: Review and ensure compliance of designs with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Site Assessments and Feasibility Studies: Participate in site assessments and feasibility studies for wet utility projects.
  • Project Management: Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while maintaining quality standards.
  • Documentation and Communication: Document project progress and present design proposals to clients and regulatory authorities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of wet utility systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of water supply design, wastewater management, and stormwater systems.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling tools.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
