**Job Description:** Senior ICU Medical Officer
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior ICU Medical Officer to join our team at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-standard clinical practice and expertise in the assessment, investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and assisting the consultant.
About the Role:The Senior ICU Medical Officer will be responsible for managing the assigned clinics as per the approved rota by the Head of the Department and Medical Director. They will also participate in continuous quality improvement activities and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the assigned clinics as per the approved rota by the Head of the Department and Medical Director.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
- Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Assist the consultant in their rounds and assist in assigned surgical procedures.
- Document the patient's complete medical record on time and update the progress notes at the same time as per HMG Policy.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Graduate of Medical School recognized by the Medical Council of the country of origin, completion of an appropriate internship and residency program, and post-graduation qualifications in the specialty. You will also need at least three years of practice in your specialty after obtaining your higher degree in a Tertiary Care Hospital.
