Job Overview:

The Cladding and Standing Seam Foreman is a critical role that oversees and manages all installation activities related to roof and wall cladding systems, including standing seam roofs. This involves planning, organizing, and supervising on-site activities to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation Oversight: Oversee the installation of cladding systems (roof & wall) and standing seam systems, ensuring quality and compliance with project specifications.
2. Team Management: Supervise, lead, and manage the performance of the installation team, including subcontractors and technicians.
3. Health and Safety: Ensure that all activities comply with health and safety standards on the job site.
4. Project Coordination: Coordinate with site management, engineers, and other supervisors to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
5. Design Review: Interpret and review project drawings and specifications related to cladding and roofing installations.
6. Scheduling and Planning: Develop work schedules and installation plans to ensure timely completion of tasks.
7. Resource Management: Assist in forecasting materials, labor, and equipment needs.
8. Quality Control: Ensure all cladding and standing seam systems are installed according to design specifications, standards, and safety codes.
9. Inspections and Quality Assurance: Conduct quality inspections at various stages of installation to ensure proper alignment, materials usage, and workmanship.
10. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any on-site issues or deviations from project specifications.
11. Inter-Trade Coordination: Liaise with other trades, such as steelwork, glazing, and MEP, to avoid conflicts and ensure seamless workflow.
12. Progress Reporting: Communicate regularly with project management to report progress, issues, and recommendations.

Key Qualifications and Job Requirements:

1. Education: Diploma or degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cladding and standing seam installation.
3. Leadership Experience: Proven experience supervising construction teams and managing large-scale installation projects.
4. Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of cladding systems, standing seam roofing, and construction methodologies.
5. Safety and Quality: Familiarity with safety standards, building codes, and quality control measures.
6. Communication Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
7. Leadership and Team Management: Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Language Skills: Strong communication skills with good command in English (Writing, Listening and Speaking).
