Job Title: Sr. Project Inspector

Lasifa International is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Project Inspector to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Sr. Project Inspector to perform complex inspection functions within the assigned inspection discipline. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a proven track record of ensuring quality control programs are implemented effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform inspections on high and low voltage terminations, splicing, cable pulling operations, and substations.
  2. Conduct inspections on above and below ground electrical installations.
  3. Inspect and/or test transformer and switch gear oil.
  4. Perform inspections on electrical motors, generators, transformers, switches, and other miscellaneous items.
  5. Review and comment on revisions to SAUDI ARAMCO and Industry standards.
  6. Review and comment on quality control programs developed in construction contractors.
  7. Perform in-depth design reviews to verify conformance to company engineering standards and specifications.
  8. Write inspection reports, worksheets, non-compliance reports, and maintain inspection records.
  9. Perform other miscellaneous related duties as directed by the field supervisor.
  10. Train SAUDI ARAMCO personnel.
  11. Review inspection waiver requests to ensure they accurately represent the condition described.
Requirements:
  1. Engineering or Technical School Graduate of Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
  2. Must be able to read, write and speak English language.
  3. 15 years industrial construction experience including 10 years inspection-related experience in a given inspection specialty.
  4. Shall be fully conversant with internationally known industry standards and specifications.
  5. Must be able to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70). He must have a current NCPCCI certification in Electrical General, or equivalent.
  6. Shall have working knowledge of electrical installations including materials, methods, specifications, and hazardous location identification for oil and gas or petrochemical industries.
  7. Computer literate.
