Job Description

MBC GROUP is the largest satellite TV and radio network based in Riyadh, Diplomatic Quarters. It broadcasts a portfolio of Arabic and Western entertainment channels as well as managing the Al Arabiya news channel.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years PQE and a Bachelor's Degree in law from a reputable university along with Bar Admission.

The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with our business teams to summarize and communicate legal concepts clearly and successfully. This will involve improving template agreements and legal processes consistent with locally relevant approach, working closely with colleagues on regulatory matters and product launches in different jurisdictions throughout the MEA region.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, corporate governance policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will also have experience in structuring, negotiating, and drafting media and commercial transactions, employment law, intellectual Property law, including copyright, trademark and patent.

A high degree of independence, initiative and decisiveness is required, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills to act as a business partner.

Bilingual Arabic/English language verbally and written is highly desirable for this role.
