We are seeking an experienced Public Area Supervisor to join our team at Raffles Hotel Jeddah. As a member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all public areas within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of public area cleaning staff
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections of public areas
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Train new staff members on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Implement and maintain safety and sanitation standards
  • Prepare reports on cleaning operations and staff performance

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in hospitality or facility management
  • Previous supervisory experience in a similar role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems
  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols
  • Understanding of hospitality industry standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
  • Certifications in safety and sanitation (preferred)
