Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Academic Institution Head to lead our school's administration and implementation of our educational system. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in education and/or equivalent, with at least 7 years of experience in a top-most school leadership position. They will be responsible for setting the tone and climate of the school environment, ensuring the proper implementation of our educational system, and overseeing the development of performance improvement plans.
Key Responsibilities

Foster a school environment conducive to the full implementation of our educational system.
Principles and ValuesUphold the principles and values of our school and organization at all times.
Direction and ManagementProvide direction and manage employees in the performance of their assigned tasks.
Image of the SchoolEnsure that the image of the school is kept to the highest standard as per our requirements.
Professional Working EnvironmentEnsure a professional working environment within the school through trouble-shooting any concerns that arise between or among employees, parents, and students.
Performance Improvement PlansOversee the development of performance improvement plans and initiatives, recommending changes where seen necessary.
Staff RecruitmentOversee the staff recruitment process in coordination with relevant parties and our management to ensure the hiring of competent candidates.
Leave Requests and ConductMonitor leave requests and conduct of all employees to ensure a smooth operation of the school.
Classroom Observations and EvaluationsEngage in ongoing classroom observations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and lead staff professional development to ensure quality deliverables and a smooth, effective workflow.
Academic IssuesMonitor and manage all academic issues through classroom observations, meetings with Academic Quality Controllers, and analyzing results using our software tools.
Classroom Management and DisciplineSupervise and follow up on classroom management and discipline matters.
SABIS Student Life OrganizationEnsure that the SABIS Student Life Organization in the school is running efficiently and effectively.
Advising ClassAdvise students through Advising Class to help them understand and practice strong civic, ethical, and moral values.
ResourcesEnsure the availability of required resources to carry out all tasks/projects.
ReportsDevelop reports when needed, including accreditation reports and management reports.
Academic CurriculumPossess an in-depth understanding of the academic curriculum of each level within the school to have open conversations with parents.
Local Norms and CultureHave familiarity with the local norms and culture of the region.
Student AdmissionsOversee the process of admitting new students to the school in coordination with relevant parties and our management.
Attendance MonitoringMonitor the absence of staff and students by checking attendance reports and ensuring adherence to our attendance expectations.
Exam SchedulesMaking sure that exam schedules are set according to plan.
Exam ResultsMonitor internal and external exam results to ensure optimum student academic performance.
Teacher-Training ProgramAttend, participate in, and follow up on the teacher-training program to assess the quality of new recruits into the school and system.
Procurement InitiativesManage necessary procurement initiatives.
School Facilities and GroundsEnsure that the facilities and grounds of the school are safe, clean, and well maintained.
Additional ResponsibilitiesPerform such other related tasks or projects as they arise and as delegated by our management.
Ideal Requirements
- Education
Master's Degree in education and/or equivalent.
English ProficiencyEnglish proficient/native English speaker.
ExperienceAt least 7 years of experience in a top-most school leadership position.
