We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our team at the National Blood & Cancer Center - NBCC. As a key member of our oncology department, you will play a vital role in coordinating radiation therapy treatments for patients with cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Treatment Coordination: Work with the oncology team to coordinate radiation therapy treatments for patients, ensuring accurate delivery and minimal side effects.
  2. Patient Education: Explain the treatment process to patients and answer any questions they may have.
  3. Treatment Monitoring: Assess patients' reactions to treatments, providing advice on side effects and suggesting amendments to treatment plans when necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in radiation therapy or a related field.
  • Experience working as a radiation therapist or similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using medical imaging equipment and software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to empathize with patients while remaining professional.
