Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and delivering large-scale urban development projects that shape the future of our cities.
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and government authorities to ensure project alignment and compliance.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Critically reviewing landscape designs submitted by external consultants to ensure they align with the project's goals, Green Riyadh standards, and sustainable design principles.
  • Providing constructive feedback to consultants, emphasizing adherence to local regulations, environmental considerations, and aesthetic aspects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture or urban design.
  • Proven experience in reviewing and managing landscape designs, including successful project completion.
  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale urban development projects.
  • Demonstrated success in coordinating and collaborating with diverse project teams.
  • Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comprehensive understanding of sustainable design principles and LEED accreditation.
  • Good proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Excel).
  • Strong skills in GIS and CAD software. Hands-on with Primavera P6 and Excel to monitor and control project progress and reporting.
  • Good in reporting weekly and monthly reports and presentations skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of sustainable urban design principles.
  • Thorough understanding of local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
  • Familiarity with Middle Eastern landscape and urban planning practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong leadership and excellent team player.
  • Self-motivated, team worker, and thinking outside of the box.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
