Job Description

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing procurement operations with a strong emphasis on contract negotiation, administration, and compliance. This role requires a strong attention to detail, knowledge in laws and regulations, and the ability to optimize supplier agreements to enhance cost-efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review purchase requests to ensure all required data and specifications are complete.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Execute procurement processes in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Document all procurement transactions and ensure accurate data for procurement reports.
  • Track and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Resolve any supply-related issues.
  • Collaborate with different departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Procurement Management, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of proven experience in procurement, preferably in a contract management environment.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to analyze proposals.
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement laws and regulations.
  • Professional certifications are a plus.
