Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Project Manager with extensive experience in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) modules to serve as a key member of our project committee. In this role, you will represent our interests by overseeing and guiding the implementation of SAP EAM and HSE modules by an external vendor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Committee Member: Participate in project committee meetings to review project status, deliverables, and risks.
  • Vendor Evaluation: Evaluate the external vendors' implementation plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and SAP best practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Provide feedback and recommendations to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Point of Contact: Act as our point of contact for the external vendor implementing SAP EAM and HSE modules.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the vendors' performance against agreed-upon KPIs, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Collaboration Facilitation: Facilitate collaboration between the vendor and internal stakeholders to address project dependencies and priorities.
  • Design Review: Review and validate functional and technical designs prepared by the vendor, ensuring they meet business requirements.
  • Risk Assessment: Assess system configurations, integrations, and customizations proposed by the vendor for feasibility and effectiveness.
  • Expert Advice: Provide expert advice on potential risks, challenges, and solutions related to SAP EAM and HSE implementation.
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with internal departments to gather business requirements and ensure they are reflected in the implementation.
  • Testing Validation: Monitor and validate vendor-led testing activities, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A proven track record of at least 1 EAM or HSE implementation as a lead project manager.
  • PMP certification.
  • 10+ years of expertise within the SAP domain.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Essential).
  • Experience of working within a management consultancy environment.
  • Ability to work under hard and fast targets and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience of working within the GCC is highly desirable.
Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
