Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled and motivated HSE Specialist to ensure the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  3. Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures to minimize risks.
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  5. Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental practices, and stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
  6. Develop and coordinate HSE plans for infrastructure projects, and collaborate with HSE organizers to ensure effective implementation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 7 years experience in the same field, with a strong background in risk management and compliance.
  • Ability to analyze risks, identify areas for improvement, and develop effective solutions to minimize risks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to review and approve project drawings, specifications, and submittals related to safety, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
