ROLE PURPOSE: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Cataloguing Engineer to join our review cataloguing team at Assystem. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and cataloging spare parts data packages to ensure accurate and timely identification, cataloging, and purchasing of equipment and associated components.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of spare parts data packages to ensure all data elements and documentation are available and accurate.
- Identify discrepancies within the spare parts data package and communicate with stakeholders to acquire missing information.
- Obtain information from our SAP system and utilize it to catalogue equipment.
- Review and catalogue a wide range of electrical equipment, including but not limited to AC units, UPS, battery chargers, cathodic protection systems, circuit breakers, MCC panels, switch racks, and more.
- Meet or exceed the target of cataloguing around 110 line items per week.
KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Electrical engineering graduate with a strong background in electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Competent in installation, repair, and maintenance of various electrical equipment, including MCC panels, automatic transfer switches, distribution transformers, generators, UPS, switchgear, and more.
- Ability to recognize and identify various electrical spare parts.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering standards, including ASME, JIS, ANSI, and SAMSS.
- Design experience is a plus, but not required.
- Proficient in computer software, including Windows, Word, Excel, and more.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
COMPETENCIES: Electrical engineer with experience in electrical equipment and a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the field, with a strong background in electrical engineering principles and practices.
