Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Media Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic media plans that drive business results.

Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior strategists and communications planning leads to develop a deep understanding of the cultural narrative and ensure deliverables are grounded in a strategic setup.
- Collaborate with media activation teams on go-to-market ideas and work closely with internal teams to deliver day-to-day strategic work for clients, stewarding strategies through to execution.
- Develop a point of view around a client's business/category, culture, and consumer by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting information from various research sources.
- Repurpose agency thought leadership for clients and contribute to agency or client thought leadership initiatives.
- Brief internal working teams and external media publishers/partners for ideation, leading and steering brainstorms.
- Stay up-to-date on leading and emerging media channels/partners (with a focus on digital) and apply this knowledge to media/consumer brief responses.
- Mentor junior strategists to support their growth and development.
- Develop strong audience empathy through the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data inputs.
