Job Summary:

Evaluate business invoice financing applications by analyzing financial health, focusing on cash flow, credit reports, and payment trends of clients' debtors. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including cash flow projections and debtor payment histories, to assess repayment capability and risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and verify invoice details, ensuring accuracy, authenticity, and completeness of submitted information.
  2. Provide recommendations for invoice financing approvals or rejections based on the financial performance of clients and their debtors.
  3. Advise clients on optimizing cash flow and improving their financial position to maximize funding eligibility.
  4. Monitor existing financed invoices, tracking repayment schedules, debtor payment patterns, and identifying potential risks.
  5. Collaborate with risk management and collections teams to enforce financing policies and ensure smooth operations.
  6. Prepare detailed reports on the company's invoice financing portfolio, performance, and risk exposure.
  7. Lead and mentor junior credit specialists, providing guidance on assessing invoice financing applications and cash flow evaluations.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in credit analysis, invoice financing, or cash flow management.
  3. Expertise in analyzing business financials, focusing on cash flow and debtor payment reliability.
  4. Strong understanding of invoice financing products, repayment structures, and risk management.
  5. Proficiency in financial analysis tools and invoice financing platforms.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  1. Deep understanding of cash flow management and debtor payment trends in invoice financing.
  2. Experience in assessing and managing risk associated with SMEs and invoice-backed lending.
