We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Director to join our team at AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Strategic HSE Guidance: Offer technical expertise and oversight to project leaders to ensure comprehensive understanding and implementation of all HSE requirements.
- Foster a Culture of Excellence: Promote and implement a just HSE culture within the PM business in KSA, driving excellence and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to Business Growth: Collaborate with the PM Win Work team to contribute to all bids and proposals, highlighting AtkinsRéalis' commitment to HSE excellence.
- Represent the Company: Represent AtkinsRéalis during client presentations, focusing on the HSE aspects of PM service delivery and showcasing our expertise.
- Develop and Implement HSE Plans: Assist the PM business during the mobilization phase of new projects by developing HSE plans, manuals, and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with the corporate HSE function to drive improvements in HSE and develop measures to safeguard AtkinsRéalis staff, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
- Provide Training and Development: Support project managers and senior management in all HSE-related aspects, including the development and delivery of training programs to enhance HSE knowledge and skills.
- Measure and Improve HSE Performance: Develop and implement HSE reporting tools to measure HSE performance, set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and drive continual improvement, ensuring a culture of accountability and transparency.
- Manage Incident Reporting: Manage incident reporting in BlueSky according to BlueBook requirements, ensuring investigations are completed and lessons learned are shared, promoting a culture of learning and improvement.
- Develop Resourcing Plans: Develop resourcing plans for HSE staff on PM projects across KSA, ensuring the recruitment of competent HSE resources and maintaining a skilled and experienced team.
- Implement Global Standards: Implement BlueBook standards, including Corporate Responsibility and Compliance Principles (CRCP) and all aspects of the Global HSE Management System (GHSEMS), ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Act as an Ambassador: Act as an ambassador for AtkinsRéalis values and promote best practices, embodying the company's commitment to HSE excellence and continuous improvement.
- Provide Expertise: Provide expertise to ensure comprehensive HSE risk assessments are conducted for PM staff in KSA, identifying and mitigating potential risks and hazards.
- Support Leadership Tours: Support senior operational management within KSA in conducting leadership tours and advising on HSE matters, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
- Mentor Project Managers: Mentor project managers within the PM business in KSA to enhance their leadership in HSE, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Integrate Thrive Principles: Integrate Thrive principles into interactions with all senior management and project managers, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
- Support HSE Collaborators: Identify and support HSE collaborators within the PM business in KSA to foster HSE improvements, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and Assist: Mentor and assist in the development of HSE personnel as needed, promoting a culture of learning and improvement.
- Foster Interest in HSE: Foster interest and understanding of HSE among KSA nationals in line with AtkinsRéalis HSEW requirements, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
- Engage with Operational Management: Engage with operational management within the PM business in KSA to promote core HSE values through various forums, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
- Establish Industry Leadership: Establish oneself as a significant industry contributor on safety matters through public speaking and media publications, promoting AtkinsRéalis' commitment to HSE excellence.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Authorities: Collaborate closely with regulatory authorities, municipalities, and ministries to promote AtkinsRéalis as an industry leader in Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW), ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Build Strong Relationships: Build strong relationships with client project management and HSE management staff in KSA, promoting a culture of collaboration and partnership.
