Main Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat complex eye conditions in pediatric patients, utilizing advanced knowledge and skills.

  • Collaborate with medical professionals to optimize patient care and develop effective treatment plans.

  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents, ensuring they receive comprehensive training and mentorship.

  • Participate in research activities and contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies for pediatric eye diseases.

  • Engage in committees and other administrative functions, driving the implementation of best practices in ophthalmic services.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

">

  • A graduate degree from a reputable medical school and completion of required training in pediatric ophthalmology.

  • Saudi Board Certification or equivalent, with membership in America and/or Europe or their equivalent.

  • A minimum of 3-4 years post-board/fellowship experience in pediatric ophthalmology.

  • Registration with the Saudi Board Council and proficiency in English, with additional proficiency in Arabic being beneficial.

  • Positive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.
