As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our suppliers meet the required quality standards for electrical equipment.
You'll work closely with engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams to manage infrastructure equipment quality throughout its lifecycle. This includes supplier qualifications, quality monitoring at supplier sites, supplier quality issue resolution, and supplier development and quality improvement initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing the supplier quality roadmap across engineering and procurement teams, verifying that AWS quality standards are met at suppliers through audits, defining and rolling out incoming inspection plans, and driving supplier and product qualification processes in support of procurement teams.
A key part of your job will be working with suppliers to develop quality improvement initiatives and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). You'll also monitor and report on supplier performance quality metrics and actions, leading supplier quality issue resolution in partnership with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams.
