About the Role:

The Arab National Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead the development, implementation, and commissioning of solar systems projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project milestones are met.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  2. Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, client stakeholders, external contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  3. Financial Management: Drive financial management of projects and approvals of invoices.
  4. EPC Activities: Lead EPC activities and deliverables (Grid, Design, Structural, Electrical, Procurement) and chair regular team meetings.
  5. Technical Oversight: Provide technical oversight and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Site Assessments: Manage site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
  7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and best practices.
  8. Local Expertise: Provide local know-how and guidance to the team.
  9. Budget Monitoring: Develop, monitor, and maintain project budget.
  10. Tender Preparation: Support preparation of technical specifications and tender documents for procurement of equipment and services.
  11. Contract Evaluation: Evaluate bids and proposals from contractors and suppliers.
  12. Construction Phase: Provide technical assistance during construction, commissioning, and operational phases.
  13. Performance Assessment: Manage preparation of performance assessments and troubleshooting of PV, EVC & BESS systems.
  14. Turnover Documentation: Ensure all project turnover documentation is secured and filed in a timely manner.
  15. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, and local communities.
  16. Representative: Represent the company in technical discussions and negotiations.
  17. Communication: Ensure transparent and timely communication with all project stakeholders.
  18. Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
  19. Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications.
  20. Commissioning and Testing: Manage the commissioning and acceptance testing of PV, EVC, BESS systems.

Requirements:

  • Education: Relevant degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Skills: Scientific and mathematical ability, good communication skills, IT skills, commercial awareness, project management skills, initiative, and fluency in English.
  • Experience: Proven experience in renewable energy project management, preferably with a focus on solar systems.
