Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with project managers, finance teams, and stakeholders to drive the financial performance of the region while maintaining compliance with group standards.
About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced finance professional who can analyze complex financial data, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance project performance. You will collaborate with the Finance Controller (FC) and CFO to integrate and align the finance organization in the Middle East with group standards, systems, and best practices. Additionally, you will provide support and constructive challenges to project managers to optimize project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
As a Financial Excellence Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the FC and CFO to ensure financial reporting systems, project account codes, and timesheet processes are properly implemented and monitored.
- Providing regular financial analysis and insights to project managers to inform decision-making.
- Analyzing monthly and quarterly financial statements, KPIs, and budgets across entities to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensuring timely and accurate statutory reporting, including reconciliation of local financial statements with group reporting.
- Managing accounts receivable to ensure timely client invoicing in collaboration with the projects team.
