Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven HSEQ Director to lead our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement HSEQ Policies
Develop and implement the company's HSEQ policies, standards, and procedures in line with local regulations and international best practices.
Monitor Compliance and Drive Continuous ImprovementMonitor compliance with HSEQ regulations and standards and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Conduct Regular Inspections and Risk AssessmentsConduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
Develop and Deliver HSEQ Training ProgramsDevelop and deliver HSEQ training programs and campaigns to raise awareness and promote a safety-conscious culture.
Manage Incident Reporting and InvestigationManage incident reporting, investigation, and follow-up to prevent recurrence and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with Project Teams and StakeholdersCollaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to address HSEQ requirements and achieve project goals.
Conduct Internal HSEQ AuditsConduct internal HSEQ audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 Years of Experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSEQ management, preferably in the construction or civil engineering industry.
Education and CertificationsBachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are preferred.
Leadership and Communication SkillsStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Fluency in EnglishFluency in English, both written and spoken.
