We are looking for an experienced Refinery Process Expert to join our team. As a Refinery Process Expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing dynamic simulation process models using various tools.

About the Role

  • This role involves developing and implementing dynamic simulation process models using various tools.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Refinery Processes, including Distillation columns, heat exchangers, rotating equipment, Reactors, Furnaces, Turbines etc.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop highly complex dynamic simulation process models and smart applications using Simulation and Optimization tools.
  2. Engage in project requirements and translating it into specifications and project deliverables.
  3. Produce timely and high-quality project delivery.
  4. Run simulations for a wide range of scenarios with built models.
  5. Carry out dynamic process and control studies.
  6. Perform optimization and de-bottlenecking studies.
  7. Assist with Flow Assurance model building for Real-time production assurance systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering – Master's degree is preferred.
  • 2-5 years' experience in Refinery or Petrochemical operations / process controls / process Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with any one of the skill sets: Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Performance Monitoring and First Principal modelling.
  • Skilled in some of the modeling tools: Aspen Hysys, Aspen GDOT, KBC Petrosim, Technip Spyro etc.
