Otolaryngology Consultant

Da Home Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Otolaryngology Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the field of Otolaryngology.

• Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert patient care in all aspects of Otolaryngology, adhering to approved clinical privileges.
  • Offer consultation services in a timely manner, responding to requests from inpatients and emergency room staff.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical records, meeting hospital policy requirements.
  • Provide on-call services, ensuring prompt response times as outlined in hospital policy.
  • Conduct daily morning rounds to identify patients ready for discharge, ensuring timely completion of discharge orders.
  • Perform other clinical responsibilities related to Otolaryngology as assigned.
• Academic Responsibilities:
  • Provide orientation, bedside training, and supervision to interns, residents, and fellows as assigned.
  • Participate in departmental educational activities and training programs, including national and international medical conferences.
  • Maintain and enhance professional knowledge through continuing education requirements.
• Research Responsibilities:
  • Participate in clinical, basic, and translational research projects to advance knowledge, improve postgraduate education, and contribute to national and international recognition of the hospital.

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of required training in specialty and/or subspecialty.
• Arab or American Board certification, membership, and/or fellowship status in the United Kingdom and/or Canada or their equivalent.
• Seven (7) years of training in specialty or subspecialty plus postgraduate training experience, with a minimum of seven (7) years' experience in the subspecialty.
