We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team at the Saudi Tourism Authority. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management and governance of our data assets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data management and governance requirements, and develop strategies to meet these needs.
- Conduct regular reviews of data governance policies and procedures, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data governance, and integrate these into our data management framework.
- Provide guidance and support to data stewards to ensure they are aware of and adhering to data governance principles and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain data governance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our data governance program.
- Communicate data governance policies and procedures to stakeholders, and provide training and awareness programs to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure data governance is integrated into all aspects of our business.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
