The Role:

We seek a Game Data Analyst responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to drive insights into player behavior and game performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of game analytics, experience in using data to make strategic decisions, and effective communication skills.

If you can deep dive into data through BI tools and advanced analytics while explaining outcomes and insights efficiently, there's a fantastic opportunity for you at Sandsoft.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead in-game analysis, including user journeys, store analysis, sinks & sources, balance, etc.
  • Analyze games against similar games in the market.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize data analysis needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in game analytics.
  • Contribute to customer retention, engagement, and monetization improvement through generating analysis reports and insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis.
  • Strong gaming experience understanding different game categories and genres, as well as game characteristics such as battle passes, live operations, etc.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
