Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team as a Telecom Security Specialist. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for conducting regular security testing to identify and fix vulnerabilities in our telecom systems. Your role involves developing and maintaining security testing procedures, creating detailed reports on findings, and collaborating with development teams to incorporate security measures during the development phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough security testing on telecom applications, systems, and networks to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Perform penetration testing and ethical hacking to simulate real-world attacks on telecom infrastructure.
  • Develop and execute tailored security test plans, test cases, and scripts for telecom systems.
  • Analyze security test results and provide detailed reports with recommendations for remediation specific to telecom environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security testing into the software development lifecycle for telecom projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, tools, and techniques relevant to the telecommunications industry.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in telecom security.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 8-15 years of experience in security testing, penetration testing, or related roles within the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong understanding of security testing tools and methodologies relevant to telecom systems.
  • Experience with various security testing tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, etc.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and security technologies specific to telecom.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, or similar are a plus.
