Job Description

**Job Title:** Financial Controller

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. **Review and Coordinate Accounts Payables:** Review Accounts Payables related transactions and coordinate with the Accounts Payable Team to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  2. **Review and Coordinate Accounts Receivables:** Review Accounts Receivables related transactions and coordinate with the Accounts Receivable Team to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  3. **Review Ledger and Inventory Transactions:** Review Ledger and Inventory related transactions and coordinate with the General Ledger Team to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  4. **Manage Trial Balances:** Manage monthly review of Trial Balances to ensure correct posting and manage variances.
  5. **Manage Provisions and Allowances:** Manage provisions, allowances, and arrange monthly records for all needed items.
  6. **Manage Metal Evaluation:** Manage metal evaluation on a monthly basis and compare purchase price with sales price without premium.
  7. **Manage Hedging Accounting:** Manage monthly review of hedging accounting and arrange needed transactions.
  8. **Confirm Bank Reconciliation:** Confirm monthly bank reconciliation on time and work with the team to have weekly bank closing.
  9. **Manage Group and Subsidiaries Reconciliations:** Manage and confirm Group - Subsidiaries & Affiliated AR/AP & C/A Reconciliations.
  10. **Manage Deposit Accounts:** Monthly management and evaluation of deposit accounts to ensure that pending items are clear.
  11. **Confirm Finance Cost:** Confirm finance cost with Treasury and manage comparison between Loan book and records.
  12. **Manage Financial Reporting:** Manage and review the financial reporting (BS to P&L). Manage comparisons, clarifications, and variance analyses with the budget, previous period (including top line, CM, GM, S&D, G&A, finance cost, management fee, 10%, zakat calculation, and variation analysis).
  13. **Prepare and Supervise Monthly Closing Plan:** Prepare & supervise monthly closing plan.
  14. **Supervise and Monitor Audit Requirements:** Supervise and monitor Audit Requirements.
  15. **Review and Supervise Inventory and Cost Analysis:** Review & supervise Inventory & cost analysis.
  16. **Plan and Supervise Inventory Physical Count:** Plan & supervise Inventory Physical count.
  17. **Manage Annual Planning:** Manage Annual Planning - Budget and arrange Quarterly roll-over forecast.
  18. **Other Related Assignments:** Other related assignments - to be communicated with Management based on the necessity and urgency.
Qualifications:
  1. **Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance:** Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of experience in the area.
  2. **Proficiency with Financial Software:** Proficiency with current financial software.
