Electrical Engineer Design and Technical Lead

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Engineer, Design and Technical Office at Samaa Holding Company. The position is located in the region. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems, working with power distribution, and ensuring efficiency in electricity usage.

Daily tasks will include creating detailed electrical plans, analyzing power systems, and coordinating with the technical team to ensure project completion on time.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design integrated electrical systems for engineering projects, including power distribution, lighting, renewable energy systems, automation systems, and fire alarm systems.
  • Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP to develop electrical designs and provide suitable technical solutions.
  • Work closely with architectural, structural, and mechanical design teams to ensure the electrical system is fully integrated into the project.
  • Collaborate with execution teams and contractors to ensure accurate implementation of designs on-site.
  • Conduct necessary engineering analysis to determine electrical loads, power distribution, and appropriate material selection.
  • Provide effective solutions to enhance energy efficiency and reduce electricity consumption in systems.
  • Review electrical designs to ensure compliance with local and international standards and codes (such as NEC, IEC, BS).
  • Provide technical guidance to other engineering teams to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare technical reports on designs and findings, documenting all modifications and analyses.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for clients or execution teams, including recommendations, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Supervise the implementation of electrical systems on-site to ensure they are executed according to plans and specifications.
  • Offer technical advice to resolve any issues that may arise during execution phases.
  • Ensure all designed electrical systems comply with local and international safety standards.
  • Monitor adherence to environmental standards and energy efficiency regulations.
  • Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior engineers or less experienced engineering teams.
  • Continuously research new technologies to enhance electrical designs, increase energy efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Implement strategies for energy savings and achieving sustainability in electrical systems.
  • Ensure project execution is within budget, on schedule, and meets the highest quality standards.
