About the Role

We're seeking a talented Creative Designer to join Careem's in-house agency, The Creative Studio. As a key member of our team, you'll work on Brand projects from creative and visual perspectives, responding to marketing briefs from various Careem vertical services. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting Marketing Initiatives

Collaborate with the marketing team, product management, communications, and other HQ colleagues to create and manage partnerships that align with our goals and those of our partners.

  1. Customer Insights and Analysis

Assist in gathering data and conducting basic customer segmentation analysis to help develop content for customer journeys.

  1. Marketing Activities and Campaigns

Help execute creative and cost-effective marketing activities aimed at acquiring new customers, cross-selling services to existing customers, and increasing customer engagement.

  1. Cultural Trends and Market Insights

Provide insights on Saudi cultural trends, online and offline media landscapes, and suggest ways Careem can engage authentically in the local context.

  1. Content Adaptation and Review

Review and suggest adaptations to centrally created content to better fit the Saudi market.

  1. Project Forecasting and Reporting

Support in forecasting, measuring, and reporting results of various projects with countrywide partners, including promotions, lead sharing, and event partnerships.

  1. Marketing Technology and Tools

Stay updated on new marketing technologies and tools, and assist in promoting their use within the team.

  1. Event Coordination

Assist in coordinating strategic events, including working with vendors, event coordinators, and design teams for onsite collateral.

  1. Language Skills

Strong English and Arabic speaking and writing skills. Must speak Arabic fluently and have experience in Saudi Arabia.

  1. Analytical and Strategic Skills

Strong analytical skills with experience using a variety of measurement techniques to assess the impact and efficacy of marketing campaigns.

  1. Marketing Planning Experience

Strong strategic marketing planning experience.

  1. Operational and Time Management Skills

Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment, manage multiple tasks, and work to tight deadlines.

  1. Creativity and Attention to Detail

Exceptional creativity with strong attention to details and aesthetics.

  1. Account Management and Communication

Strong account management and relationship builder, an adept communicator with the ability to liaise with people at all levels.

  1. Industry Experience

Experience working within the technology industry/start-up environment is highly desirable.
