Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer to join our team at Omrania and Associates. As a key member of our Mechanical Engineering Department, you will be responsible for leading a team of design engineers and CAD operators in the design, drafting, and specification of plumbing, fire protection, and associated services for various building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of design engineers and CAD operators in the design, drafting, and specification of plumbing, fire protection, and associated services for various building projects.
  • Develop and implement design solutions that meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and integration of plumbing and fire protection services with other design disciplines.
  • Prepare clear and detailed calculations, sketches, drawings, and specifications using computer software.
  • Supervise and guide engineers and CAD operators in preparing design documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and codes of practice for mechanical engineering, including IBC, UPC, IPC, NFPA, and other regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the design of plumbing and fire protection systems for large-scale building projects.
  • At least 2 years experience in the Middle East.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems and services for various building types.
  • Ability to prepare clear and detailed calculations, sketches, drawings, and specifications using computer software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
