Are you a seasoned Geotechnical Engineer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team at Advanced Construction Technology Services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing data and soil samples through field and laboratory analysis to determine the type, classification, characteristics, and stability of soil.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, working closely with our Head of Geotechnical Division and senior geotechnical engineers to develop comprehensive project plans.
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can prepare project schedules, sign and approve testing work orders, and coordinate drilling activities under the directives of our Head of Geotechnical Division.
In this role, you will also determine if faults or fractures in soils would be detrimental to construction plans, compute bearing weights, and prepare maps, charts, and reports of test results.
Your expertise in geotechnical engineering will be crucial in ensuring the safety and integrity of our construction projects, including foundation design, slope angles, grading, or building heights.
As a Geotechnical Engineer at Advanced Construction Technology Services, you will supervise, train, and evaluate assigned staff in the Geotechnical Division, providing timely and accurate service in response to requests from our Head of Geotechnical Division or senior GE.
You will meet with inspectors, engineers, contractors, and/or developers to determine corrective action required when there are discrepancies between work done and approved plans, specifications, and standards.
